HOW TO REACH IMPHAL
By Air to Imphal
Imphal Tulihal Airport is located about 8km from the heart of the City and is well connected directly from the major cities of India namely Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Aizawl, Silchar, Dimapur etc by Daily/bi-weekly/other basis with the Domestic Air services like Air India, King Fisher, Jet Airways, Indigo, Spice Jet, Jet Lite, Air Deccan etc. Other major cities of India are connected to Imphal via Kolkata/ Guwahati.

By Train to Imphal
Entry Formalities
Domestic tourists who wish to visit Manipur by road via Dimapur/Kohima require Inner Line Permits to pass through Nagaland. These are issued by the Liaison officers of the Government of Nagaland at New Delhi, Calcutta, Guwahati, Shillong and the Sub-divisional officer (Civil), Dimapur. Deputy Commissioner, Imphal can also issue permits to tourists travelling by road from Imphal to Kohima and Dimapur in Nagaland.
Tourist Homes at Moirang, Sendra, Phubala, Tamenglong, Kaina and Churachandpur are also managed by the Department of Tourism, Government of Manipur.
HOW TO REACH IMPHAL
The beautiful city of Imphal is connected by Air, Train and Bus from other places.
By Air to Imphal

1. From Guwahati daily on the NH 39 via Dimapur and Kohima.
2. From Dimapur daily on the NH 39 via Kohima.
3. From Silchar daily on the NH 53 via Jiribam.
By Train to Imphal
There is no direct train service to Imphal. But can travel upto Guwahati or Dimapur and from there by bus or by air.
Entry Formalities
All foreigners intending to visit Manipur can avail of permits from the Indian Missions abroad, FRRO offices in Bombay, Calcutta and Delhi, the Immigration Office in Chennai and the Home commissioner, Government of Manipur, Imphal.
The following places are opened for the tourists:
Imphal, Loktak Lake, INA Memorial City (Moirang), Sendra, Keibul Lamjao National Park Waithou Lake and the Khongjom War Memorial.
